現在リーグテーブルで6位。もし先週のパレスに勝っていたら、15ポインツでなんとトップだったという。。かなり好調と思ってよいチーム。

アーセナル的には、ベン・ホワイトの古巣クラブであり、いまもしつこくアーセナルとリンクされているイヴ・ビスーマのいるクラブであり、ダニ―・ウェルベックのクラブであり、あとはマテオ・ゲンドゥージがかつてのどわを食らわした（笑い）ニール・モーペイという悪役がいるクラブであり。

これはなんだろうね。どう解釈すればいいのか。われら煽られているのかな？ こいつにボールが渡ったときのアウェイスタンドのブーイングが楽しみだ。

フォーム

PL6試合で4勝（W4 D1 L1）といっても、ビッグ6を3つも含んだアーセナルのやべえフィクスチャと比べると、ややイージーだったか。

勝ちは、バーンリー（A）、ワトフォード（H）、ブレントフォード（A）、レスター（H）。敗けがエヴァトン（H）で分けがパレス（A）。

や、それでもけっこうすごいか。アーセナルがやられたブレントフォード（A）でしっかり勝っているし、レスターにも勝っている。

先週のパレスの試合はたまたまハイライトを観てしまったが、最後の追加時間にモーパイのゴールで追いつくという劇的な展開だった。ヴィエラには気の毒すぎた。

Steven Alzate、Enock Mwepu、Adam Websterがアウト。

Yves Bissouma、Danny Welbeckがかなりダウト。

ポッター：（ホワイトのAFC移籍）クラブを移籍すれば、そうすんなりとはいかないものだ。そうしたいとは思っても、すぐにどうにかするのは簡単ではない。

思うに、アーセナルはシーズン最初のブレントフォードではタフな試合になった。Covidやなんやかんやで多くの問題を抱えていた。だから、彼にも完璧な状況ではなかった。でもベンにはレジリエントなキャラクターがあるよ。

彼は素晴らしいフットボーラーであり、グレイトな漢。ここではみんな彼のことが好きだった。だから、週末のことは別として、われわれも彼にはうまくやってほしいと思っている。わたしも彼なら絶対やれると思っている。

＜ブライトンについて＞

彼らのすばらしいポゼッションプレイ（※ポゼッションはPLランクで5位。アーセナルは14位）。今シーズンのブライトンには、ふたつの異なるソースからの脅威がある。彼らはセットピーセズで支配的。いっぽう高い位置でボールを奪ってすぐにシュートもするようなプレイも上手。たとえばモーペイがワトフォードですばらしいフィニッシュをした。

＜デインジャーマン＞

ニール・モーペイはここ数年のアーセナル戦ではいろいろなことが起きる試合をしている。そして彼はすばらしい得点フォームで今シーズンを始めている（※6試合でG4）。

昨シーズンのモーペイは、チャンスをつかむ前に得点できるポジションにいがちだったが、今シーズンここまではゴール前の彼はやばい。
